It's hard to tell what is at the bottom of it all. Sheer stupidity maybe, frustration probably, but really, where does it all come from? Is it the weather? Riots only happen in summer in England, most of the time the weather is too bad for people to bother.

The death of Bin Laden doesn't represent his failure as a Jihadist but a total victory for provoking America's. Bin Laden's death will change nothing, his mission was accomplished a long time ago.

I am such an impressionist. My legs get cold, my arms get cold, weird thinking of my mom dying in my old bedroom, now the den. And kneeling is weird. The northern lights, weird. Arcade lights. Wildwood, New Jersey,

I saw Amy Winehouse in 2007, I think. It was at a night club in Soho or Picadilly, where dub step was being played and strangely enough she performed live with a band.

What bird lost its feather in the cab?

My brother was in Beijing recently and did this amazing photo/film. He captured a culture, where the past is colliding with the future in the most unexpected ways.

Gil Scott Heron died two days ago, May 27th 2011. The first time I heard him was in 1995 in Hong Kong. I will never forget the impression it made on me. Political poet, music giant, funky, relevant, deep and timeless.
