The death of Bin Laden doesn't represent his failure as a Jihadist but a total victory for provoking America's. Bin Laden's death will change nothing, his mission was accomplished a long time ago. By waving the red flag to an angry bull, America lost focus on the ball and began a war with it's own demons and obsessions. The cost of the Irak and Afgan wars, both proxies in the hunt for Bin Laden, have left America bankrupt, battered and beaten. This is what the Lion of the Arab world wanted, get America out of it's lair and let it destroy itself. For ten years America mercilessly hunted Bin Laden and now that he is dead, it has to face the consequences of a new world, where it's influence has waned, the sovereignty of it's dollar bill put into question and it's authority left in the dust. There is no triumph for America, there is nowhere to run to now. Its time to face a form of narrow mindedness and wake up to a new reality far more painful than 9/11. Bin Laden hid in plain view for ten years and watched the American machine overheat and spin out of control. The great Satan of the Arab world is beating itself into the ground and no one will pick up the pieces. At the same time, China quietly transformed itself into a colonial superpower, giving aid to African countries for mining rights and now building cricket stadiums in caribbean islands in return for fishing rights. The money spent on America's wars, could have been used to strengthened it, the opposite has happened. America's debt has spiralled out of control and is about to hit fifteen trillion, weakening the dollars historical position as currency of choice. America's sphere of influence has dramatically shrunk and the next battle will be much harder to win. The mind of the American people needs to change and mature dramatically. The country is no longer a teenager, it needs to become a young adult. If elections are to go by, the general level of American emotional maturity is incredibly low. The middle kingdom is pragmatic and nuanced like an experienced adult, while the teenager is impulsive, childish and reckless. China and America need each other badly enough to smooth differences, but like two sumo wrestlers fighting for a tight space, someone is going to be pushed out of the circle.
